The Walker Family

We had a great time with two of Richard's children and their spouses.  Due to missed connections, they were a day late in arriving, nevertheless we made use of the time we had.
They spent Sunday in the MTC and went with us and the missionaries on the Church History Tour.  And.....check out the sunshine!  We thank them for it!

Conwy Castle is a favorite and the sturdy walls are reminiscent of the days of kingdoms, knights, armour, chariots, swords and fortresses that protected the people.

After a big of searching through the rain soaked cemetery in Hawarden, Wales, we found this broken headstone of John Bennion -- a great grandfather on Richard's matriarchal line.  It is always a tender moment when you stand by these old markings and are reminded of the sacrifices made for you!

......and more headstones of family members

family standing among family -- both here and there......
